On , the Jewish Federation of Eastern Connecticut, the City of Norwich, in partnership with Ahavath Achim of Colchester, Ahavath Chesed of New London, Beth-El of New London, Beth Jacob of Norwich, Bnai Israel of Willimantic, and Emanu-El of Waterford synagogues, are hosting a , 400 New London Turnpike, Norwich.Sunday evening, October 15, at 7:00 pmone-hour Vigil/Call to Action at Beth Jacob Synagogue
This event will feature comments from rabbis and other faith leaders, community leaders, and others as we come together to demonstrate our support for Israel in this time of crisis.
The evening will also be an important opportunity for the community to come together to try to understand the feelings we are all experiencing. We will hear about alternative courses of action to help heal our communities and to channel the pain into productive paths that will help ease the agony being felt by so many at this time.
